It is a small statuette of a man or a woman made out of bees wax which during the ritual become the symbolic of the protagonists, in this case, yourself and the one you want to regain.
The "dagyde" has been used in love ceremonies since ever because of its powerful action.
Wax is a material that is both practical, because of its malleability and ease to receive an "witness" and wise because bees wax, just like wood and clay, had the reputation of being absorbent for the eventual body liquids (of the targeted person) it could contain.
This is how it should be utilised:
*take an amount of wax enough to be able to knead it with one hand. Warm it and knead it, so it becomes tender.
*once it is tender, flatten it, put the "witness" in it and roll the wax into a cylinder, then give it the form of a human without trying to make it resemble the person except for the gender.
*the do the same with the one representing you, with a "witness" from you and your gender.
"Dagyde's" are commonly used in witchcraft, but also for positive purposes like those we are intending here, when it is necessary to use more powerful means. Once charged with a "witness" its vibration is the same as the persons, acting as an ideal medium between earth and the cosmos.
