The universal principles governing fortune

Firstly, there are universal cosmic laws to which all living beings are subject. In other words, the laws that govern the major domains of life (love, money, health, luck, etc.) are fundamentally cosmic and borne out in all places and at all times.

Among them, three are essential for the achievement of a rich and happy life: the Law of Causality (also called the law of Karma or the Law of cause and effect), the Law of Attraction (also called the Law of Resonance) and the Law of Manifestation.

Now let’s look at exactly how these cosmic laws work.

You will certainly have heard mention of the Law of Karma, cited in the spiritual tales of every religion on Earth, in the adage: As you sow so shall you reap.

If you sow seeds of destruction, you will harvest destruction. If you sow seeds of anger and hatred, you will harvest anger and hatred. If you sow wheat, you will harvest all 100% of this wheat in return, not barley. The care and attention you invest in the sowing will pay dividends in the quality of the harvest, whatever the type of seed.

You must also understand that the cosmos, just like our subconscious mind, is absolutely free of prejudice: nothing is good and nothing is bad, positive or negative, beautiful or ugly, worthy or worthless. These labels are only valid for us – while what may be beautiful or positive for one may not necessarily be so for another.

Who could disagree that what is a gift to one person may be a source of disgust for another? A plant may be seen as medicine in homeopath or herbalist, yet to a gardener it would be a weed attempting to take root.

And indeed for some spiders are frightening animals; they squash them without a thought, then complain about the annoyance of flies. Well of course, these flies aren’t getting trapped in spider webs any more because the spiders aren’t there to weave them!

Obviously, opinions about the rights or wrongs of a thing, it’s value or worthlessness, cannot actually be justified, being merely the expression of our subjectivity.

This becomes all the more evident when you think in terms of energy. Energy is "valueless" in the sense that it is only through you that it becomes positive or negative – in other words, it depends on whether you use it for constructive or destructive ends. This means that whatever you wish for will come to you, which is fair.

The Creator gave us the gift of free will so we could experience life in all its wealth. Life does not command us to choose only experiences that are good or enjoyable. We are absolutely free to experiment according to our desires. It remains to be seen if what we desire turns out to be what we wanted once we have it…but at least we have free choice.

For example: A thought comes into your mind, and the more it goes round your head, the more you consolidate it. This will have a consequence: whatever the thought, it will happen one day in your life.
Everyone has their fears, for example they fear that one day they will be attacked or that the police will arrest them when they’ve had one drink too many. Perhaps one day you might wake up with an idea in your head and say to yourself: « Gosh, now there’s a plan that will never work! ». The energy generated by that thought is a command, both for your subconscious and for the cosmos, and it will be taken 100% into account, of that you can be sure!

The cosmos is like a giant computer that functions according to perfect laws. You programme it with your thoughts (input) and it will print whatever is programmed into it (output). Your subconscious mind doesn’t know what fear is, it can’t distinguish between the positive and the negative. You give it energy, an order, and it gets to work on what it has received.

You will, in turn, see the fear you have sown become a reality; your project will fail. Likewise, if you entertain a thought of violence with sufficient intensity and for a long time, you will be the victim of a rape or an attack. Don’t say to yourself afterwards: « There! I knew that was going to turn out badly!» Yes, you knew it but, to be more precise, you were the only one who knew it! And as the saying goes: To each his own.

This is very important: You are the author of your thoughts and your feelings and it’s you that gives them their life. What you think and feel is down to you and you alone, and will sooner or later become a reality in your life. So, this means you have a responsibility towards your thoughts.

All this comes down to the fact that human beings, through their thoughts and words, are capable of influencing indirectly – but very specifically – the material world in which they live. That’s how the creative power of thoughts and words (thoughts expressed verbally) manifests itself. And by virtue of our free will and the Law of Causality, human beings are responsible for their thoughts and words.

It’s very important to understand the role thoughts play in our everyday lives. In this regard, there are several concepts in the invisible and occult world that will make it easier for you to understand.

The intrinsic nature of thought has certain consequences: every time you ‘emit’ a thought, your brain releases a tiny amount of energy that travels through the atmosphere. This energy is like radio waves, it travels unchallenged by distance or material objects. Every thought that crosses our mind is duplicated by the release of an amount of energy that is ‘imprinted’ on the universal ether.

According to the Law of Manifestation, energy follows thought. This means that the universal cosmic energy ‘falls in step’ with your conscious will and, accordingly, energy flows wherever you direct your attention, right after your thoughts! This law manifests the creative power of thought
