The Moon and its superstitions

One shouldn't point ones index at the Moon, it causes misfortune, if it was done seven times, one gets blind, nine time, one doesn't go to heaven after death.

One should greet the Moon, especially the first day of the year, to be sure to attract luck and prosperity.

If one wear a silver coin or jewel, during the first lunar, one wouldn't lack anything until the following month.

One shouldn't watch the Moon with an empty wallet, or it would stay empty.

Two new Moons during the same period, is a bad omen.

If you say three times the Our Father and three times Ave Maria while seeing the first lunar crescent of the year, you'll have no health issues.

You'll have a lucky year if you fire of three rifle shots at the Christmas Moon.

If you want to become a good witch, you have to shoot 9 times with silver bullets toward the Moon while swearing at God.

Young mothers and infants would be protected if wearing a lunar crescent in the form of, for example a jewel.

The fur from an animal killed during the new Moon will lose its hair.

White marble and  wooden ships erode in Moonlight.

Climbing vegetables, climbing counter clockwise should be sowed during the rising Moon.

If one moves to a new house during waxing Moon, one would never experience hunger in the new home.
