The action that the Moon has upon health issues was known of already in Antiquity and Hippocrates defended the idea. Louis XI,established that the calender was to be consulted before prescribing any medicine or do any surgery, the Moon had to be favourable. Full Moon was considered very negative for surgery, inducing blood shedding. Modern doctors have confirmed the fact that during full or new Moon, that would be the case, especially with throat surgery.
Many criminals have claimed that the full Moon gave them an irrepressible urge to commit their crime. Several "famous" crimes have been perpetrated during full Moon and the suicide rates also rises during this time.
Agriculture has always had a very close relationship with the Moon phases, their sowing, reaping, cutting, grafting, covering of their cattle following the cycles since generations.
The colour of the Moon also has its meaning; red= wind, pale= rain, light= fine weather. It is also said that if the barometer lowers during the fifth and the sixth day of the Moon cycle, the rest of the cycle will bring bad weather.
