• TUESDAY: spot a dishonest proposal:

even if you’ve never used one before, a pendulum can serve as a very handy addition. Write the proposal, in your own hand, on a piece of paper. If you haven’t got a pendulum you can make one by taking a 20 cms length of thread with a ring, such as your wedding ring, tied at the end. If the proposal is honest the pendulum will turn in a circle whereas if it is not, it will just swing back and forth. Focus on the question and hold the pendulum over a piece of paper, between thumb and forefinger (your elbow should not rest on the table). Start the movement of the pendulum and after about a minute, if it starts to turn then the answer is yes. If it continues to swing back and forth, the answer is no.
