Instant relaxation

This method is based exclusively on breathing. Breathe in deeply, expanding your stomach to ensure the maximum retention of air. When you have done this, hold your breath and keep the air in your lungs while you count slowly to ten. Then breathe out deeply through your mouth, drawing in your stomach to expel all the air from you body. Then breathe normally.

If you want to, you can repeat the process a second or even a third time if the need arises. Apart from enabling you to relax immediately, this simple exercise also has the advantage of revitalising the cells of the organism. This charge of energy begins to take effect from around the fifth second of holding your breath.
