In the esoteric and occult language of the
Initiated, mastering this second stage empowers you to "Receive
Communion at the Altar of the Sacred Temple".
According to the Esoteric Tradition, as soon
as first-stage Initiates have acquired sufficient energy to make the transition
to a superior level of consciousness, they must use these 4 Secrets to
maintain and extend this superior consciousness.
This superior consciousness becomes
extremely precious for them since it represents their guarantee of success in
controlling their own destiny.
They will use these Secrets on an everyday
basis like "tools". This will enable them to consolidate their powers
and make regular and confident progress.
These 4 Secrets are interdependent, closely
"inter-related" in a subtle and logical way. In fact, you could even
regard them as one single Secret (which Initiates refer to as the Mystery of Perfect Light).
However, to prevent this Secret appearing
excessively impenetrable to you, and for reasons of simplicity and clarity,
I have sub-divided it into four parts so
that you can apply it more easily.
These 4 parts concern four mutually
"overlapping" areas: relaxation,
concentration, visualisation and intuition.
By practising these activities regularly,
you will develop such superior qualities as creative imagination and divine
inspiration; you will sharpen your spiritual «senses».
