Start by gathering all the information and materials that relate to you personally, taking account of your astrological sign, your surname and first name: numbers, geometric figures, colours, symbols, patron saint, etc.
Choose a favourable period for making your pentacle by using astrology and numerology to work out your lucky days. Then consult an astronomical almanac in order to determine when the astral conjunction is most favourable for you (refer to an aspect chart). To make your pentacle, choose as a priority the day on which your planetary ruler is in the same position as on the day of your birth. If, on this day, your planetary ruler is in an unfavourable aspects with the Sun, Venus, Mars or Jupiter, choose another day to make your pentacle. To obtain detailed information on this subject, you should refer to an astronomical almanac. If you do not have access to such a book, consult an astrologer or use the Internet to find a web site specialising in astrology.
Also choose an environment that corresponds to the element that characterises your astrological sign:
Earth for Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn people
Fire for Aries, Leo and Sagittarius people
Air for Gemini, Libra and Aquarius people
Water for Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces people
You will therefore be barefoot on the earth if yours is an Earth sign, in the open air if yours is an Air sign, as near as possible to water (the sea, a lake or a river) if yours is a Water sign, and in front of a fire (an open hearth or near a wood fire) if yours is a Fire sign.
