Concentration depends on a few simple rules that must be observed. The classic error usually consists of wanting to cut out various stages and try to learn the art of concentration without first having achieved the necessary level of relaxation.
This is why I am advising you to begin your
concentration sessions (at least at the
beginning of your training) with a relaxation exercise.
Because the aim of concentration is to focus
the attention, trying to concentrate on several things at once is impossible.
You should therefore choose one object or one subject on which to concentrate
and stick to it.
In the early stages, I suggest you
experiment with a tangible object. In other words, use a material medium,
something you can look at. Concentrating on an idea or an event is also
possible, but trying to do this immediately would be like trying to read before
you had learned the alphabet.
Without further ado, I will explain a number
of exercises of progressive difficulty. To achieve the best results, I suggest
you dedicate a week to each exercise.
