The five senses – hearing, sight, smell,
taste and touch – are the doors to deeper, more subtle perceptions of
existence. Life takes on a new dimension and flows through you via your senses.
Do you need your five senses to develop the
sixth sense, i.e. intuition? The answer
is most definitely YES.
Your five senses are like information
antennae. Sharpening your senses is an excellent way of developing the quality
of your perception and getting the intuitive process underway, since using your
intuition means not relying solely on your "external" senses.
You may say to me: « I only believe what
I see! ». Are you sure you are seeing everything that is there? Do you
think everyone else sees the same thing as you?
Intuition is like paying a great deal of
attention to yourself. Turning your gaze outwards is necessary and an intrinsic
part of life since you can’t live without others or without contacts. But
looking inwards, getting to know and listening to yourself, is also
indispensable to the development of your sixth sense: intuition.
