More about the Mayans...

With sophisticated mathematics they knew how to determine the movements of the heavenly bodies in the night sky, thousands of years into the future and also into the past. They knew how to predict the eclipses of the Sun. They had the knowledge of the movements of the Moon around Earth and also the revolution of the others planets, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn around the Sun too. They had also the perfect knowledge of the concept zero, without which mathematics wouldn't really exist (it must be said that in those times neither the Greeks, nor the Romans had the slightest idea whatsoever about that concept).
