The occult knowledge of the Initiated Mayans concerned mostly the spiritual evolution based upon an alchemy between humans and the energies of the Sun. In other words, they have developed a system of Sacred Ceremonies during which they realized magic rituals dedicated to th Sun, which in return granted them their wishes.
The Mayans had a very special relationship with the Sun God even if they also worshiped other divinities. It wasn't simply an adoration but rather a cult.
