*Sit comfortably with your back straight , hands on thighs.
*Practice abdominal breathing for two or three minutes.
*Focus on your feet , try to be nothing else than feet, feeling them from inside. Then let you attention move along along your legs, your thighs, your stomach, your chest, your arms, your neck and your head. Meanwhile , continue to breathe with your belly.
*When you are aware of your whole body , imagine that it is surrounded by a halo of light, then start a visualisation following the rhythm of your breathing.
*When you exhale, you let go of all your tensions .
*Practice this energetic breath for two or three minutes, then change your visualization.
*Imagine that small roots grow underneath the soles of your feet, alive and well , and that they grow through the floor down into the welcoming soil. Where they propagate and sinks deeper and deeper down to the centre of the Earth. Meanwhile, continue to feel the surrounding light.
*Then imagine that you breathe in through your roots elevating the energy of the Earth, as if you sucked water through a multitude of tiny little straws .
*Bring up this energy to your heart and let it flow throughout your body.
*The fullness of this energy starts growing delicate branches on your head. Leaves start growing trying to stretch out toward the sky and the sun.
*The motion of this energy reverses and you are now breathing, for two or three minutes by the branches that link you to the heavens.
*Finally, draw the two different currents of energy-both from the ground and the sky, at the same time, and let it mingle in your heart. You are now perfectly anchored between heaven and Earth. Enjoy this feeling in the present moment.
The first benefit of this exercise is the immediate feeling of more consciousness and attention to you immediate environment. Practising before a channelling would be interesting for a leverage of sensations.
