• MONDAY, the influence of the Moon: the Moon is waning.
On
April 8th and 9th, the Moon in Scorpio will sharpen your
intuition so you’ll be able to work out situations you couldn’t quite see
clearly before. There may be surprises in store! You might also be able to lay
your hands on items you lost a long time ago. Your powers of analysis will be
greater and this will help you get to the bottom of some mysteries that have
been bugging you! On April 10th and 11th, the Moon in
Sagittarius will help you let go, take a step back and get some perspective on
your day-to-day existence. This is a good time to wind down a bit. Perhaps do
some meditation and rediscover your inner focus.
On April 12th and
13th, the Moon in Capricorn will bring you a degree of protection.
This is a great time for purifying your home – this will strengthen your
personal protection. Check over all the entry points to your home to make sure
their all in good working order.
On April 14th, the Moon in Aquarius
will see an upturn in your communication skills, however you go about it: by
letter, in person, over the telephone, etc. You can log on to the Internet, or
perhaps get back in touch with some old friends. There are some nice times
ahead waiting for you, and you’ll find it easy to renew old ties.
• TUESDAY, your positive affirmation: « I can and will do things in my own time -
it’s the best all-round solution! » Rushing into things is the best
way to make a mistake. If you can take a step back, you’ll find you don’t waste
your time, you’ll see clearly where the pitfalls lie and step around them, and
evaluate your progress. All in all, everything will become easier. Repeat this
affirmation until it really sinks in to your mind.
• WEDNESDAY, let go: slip on some
comfortable clothing and, in a quiet room, trace a 2 metre circle in chalk on
the floor, or using a felt-tip pen on a sheet or table cloth. Place a sheet of
paper and a pencil outside the circle. Sit down in the middle of the circle on
a cushion. Try to focus on the calm within you, ignoring the thoughts that come
into your mind, concentrating on the feelings your body is experiencing. Feel
the movement of life, the blood running through your veins, the air flowing in
your lungs, the sensation of the ground beneath your feet, the temperature of
the air around you…Relax and imagine hands massaging you from your neck down to
your feet, until all tension and pain has gone. Revel in this feeling, down
think about anything other than the here and now, the present moment. When you
feel calm and relaxed and capable of confronting your problems without feeling
overwhelmed, make a mental list of everything in your life that is not as you
would like it to be and choose an image that symbolises your difficulties. This
might be an object, an animal, a person… Draw this symbol in the sheet of
paper. Breathe slowly and deeply for a few minutes, thinking over all these
things with your eyes closed. Then, with your eyes still closed, say three
times, out loud: « I am breaking the
circle! » Fold the paper so that the picture is inside and throw it
outside the circle. Take a few minutes to be aware of your thoughts and
feelings, then go back about your daily business, with a feeling of relief and
hope that will make all your daily challenges easier to face. When you feel
nervous or overwhelmed again, cast your thoughts back to this feeling of relief
and mentally throw that piece of paper out of the circle again.
• THURSDAY, protect yourself: you can protect your
home, and with it the people who live there, by setting a little bowl of salt
that has previously been blessed during mass. For this you can keep a few
little sachets of salt in your pocket (the sort in a paper envelope) when you
go to mass on Sunday, and touch them with your hand when the priest blesses the
congregation. If you’re patient – and if you have deep pockets! – you can get
enough salt to leave bowls of it all around the house, including the entry to
the garden. If you life in an apartment, you can put some salt at either side
of the door, under each window and in the letter box. This salt must be renewed
and re-blessed at the start of each new season.
• FRIDAY, rediscover your friends: Friday is the day of
Venus, and so relates to the world of feelings and love…In April, Friday is the
perfect day for working on your friendships and leaving old tensions in the
past. Take a nice apple, wash it in cold water, dry it then stick to pins in it
in a cross, at 90 degrees. Then say out
loud, with conviction, these magical words: « May Asmodee awaken the heart of my friend! » Then,
bury the apple at the foot of a tree, which can be of any variety other than a
conifer. Here, the apple is the symbol of the renewal of friendship. Its shape
brings to mind a heart, which is good for rituals that concern the world of
feelings. Pins are often used in traditional recipes. They are the arrows of
love the penetrate the heart symbolised by the apple – one for you and one for
your friend.
• SATURDAY, lesson for the weekend: « I always have love and friendship to share
with positive people and these feelings protect me. » Write this idea
in red ink on a sheet of white paper and keep it on your person all through the
weekend. Whenever you get a chance, read it and take a few moments to imagine
yourself in a life situation to which these words might apply. On Sunday
evening, burn the paper, after rereading it one last time.
• SUNDAY, your lucky numbers: 7 – 14 – 18 – 25 – 31 –
32 – 39
