What others can accomplish, you too can accomplish!

Have you ever noticed how most people have a ‘ not enough attitude to life? Whether it’s true or not, this idea of ‘not enough’ seems automatic, even before you have time to think about it or question it.

And they do it from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep:
I haven’t had enough sleepI don’t have enough timeI don’t have enough influenceI’m not slim enough, not attractive enough, not intelligent enough, not educated enough etc. And of course: I don’t have enough money!

This "not enough" shouldn't become a sort of default position that defines the way you see things, whether it’s the balance on your bank account, the people you love or your own self-worth.
Thinking in terms of ‘not enough’ is at the root of all failure!

In other words, for money to start flowing into your life, you need to get in the right frame of mind called wealth consciousness’. Or, if you prefer: develop the conviction, in your own mind, that money will run freely and forever in your life and that there is always a divine surplus (the prosperity principle). For example, if war were to break out tomorrow, you would continue to attract wealth, whatever form the new currency took. This is because wealth is the result of a state of mind that expects to see the generous gifts of Providence flow eternally.

The reality is that we live within our discourse about money, and by discourse I mean all our thoughts, words and actions relating to money, the value we give it, what it represents in our eyes. So, if your thoughts and beliefs about money revolve around negative feelings, then money will tend to evade you, perhaps even abandon you completely.

For example, as we have seen above, if your discourse is centred around a disdain for money (money is dirty…money can’t buy happiness), the denial of your self-worth (I don’t deserve to be prosperous… I’ll never be rich), the fear of being poor (I will go without this or that so I don’t break the budget), jealousy towards friends who have more money than you (luck is for other people, not for me), then you are living in a world where money, wealth and prosperity clearly have no place.

It’s important to remember that the discourse you have about yourself and others (the thoughts that get your attention) have a significant impact on the material reality of your life!

The ‘discourse of poverty’ uses the following terms and their like: never enough, empty, fear, distrust, envy, greed, miserliness, competitive, judgmental, comparison, external wealth, effort, survival, poverty… With a discourse such as this, as you judge, compare and criticise, branding people winners or losers, you are focused on dissatisfaction. You are allowing money to define you, rather than identifying yourself with money in a less superficial way and expressing your qualities through money.

The discourse of material wealth, on the other hand, uses words such as gratitude, contentment, love, confidence, respect, faith, commitment, partnership, acceptance, sharing, inner wealth, etc. This discourse recognises money for what it is, appreciates its value and looks ahead to how it can best be used. You are focused on the potential for improving your lifestyle and on the spirit of initiative: your money will bear the hallmark of your energy and your positivity.

It’s equally important that you understand this: everything you need to become rich is already within you; so it’s just down to you to externalise it.

Assets such as physical beauty, luck or even the use of magic may encourage the arrival of fortune. But you need to tell yourself, in no uncertain terms, that unless you have the right attitude, the right state of mind (some call it the ‘millionaire mindset’) you won’t find it easy to attract money into your life.

So, the first step along the path to financial stability, prosperity and material wealth is developing the right attitude to money.

If your thoughts are channelled in the right direction and in harmony with the creative laws of the universe, they really can serve as "success triggers" helping you get everything you want out of life. You’ll doubtless already have noticed how it’s always the positive-minded, determined people who achieve the most brilliant success. They are characterised by a strong personality, rooted in and supported by their minds, the formidable powers of which they have managed to harness.

What others can accomplish, you too can accomplish!
