Know that you can improve your life, whatever your circumstances: all you need to do is improve the way you think from now on. It doesn’t matter how anxious you are, or how upset, or the extent of your problems, you can rediscover hope, achieve your childhood dreams, and lead the life you dream of.
Whether it concerns work, love, friendship or any other area, you can turn your life around at any time. It’s never too late and you’re never too old to prosper.
Thinking positively is like turning a knob on your radio to tune into the music programme you want to listen to. It allows you to find the right ‘wavelength’ without unwanted interference. Now that’s easier and more pleasant, isn’t it?
By choosing to think positively, you are working for yourself rather than against yourself.
Learn to value yourself and have faith in your abilities. If something worries you when you’re making a decision, take a step back and think it through, to look further into yourself. Learn to listen to your heart, which knows your inner truth, and live in harmony with it.
It is down to each of us to choose the quality of our thoughts.
If your life is not as you would wish it to be, analyse your thoughts over the course of a day. Then examine the actions that resulted from these thoughts. Then look at the consequences of these actions. Then, finally, correct your thoughts to you get what you want. You can do it!
Be aware that you always create what you think. Positive changes start in your mind. How can you improve something you say you absolutely detest? By saying such words you are not only affirming this belief, you are also blocking the creative energy that could point you towards solutions for improving your life.
Recommendation: You can become more aware of your thoughts by having a regular introspection session. Take 5-10 minutes out of your day, preferably in the evening before you go to sleep and go through everything that has happened to you over the course of the day.
Replay the "film": review the thoughts that have crossed your mind, associated with the emotions you’ve felt and the actions you’ve taken in such and such a situation. Not only is this little exercise excellent for improving your memory and helping you correct your thoughts, it also has the power to make your capacity to visualise much greater.
