It is a good weapon against the evil eye and a decorative thing if you show care in making it. Make two bouquets of aromatic plants : lavender, bay, St John's Wort, sunflower and heliotrope. If one or two plants are missing, this doesn't reduce the level of protection. Attach the plants with hemp twine, then tie the two bunches together to form a cross shape. Finally, pass the cross over a fire of fennel (stems or dried leaves). Put this cross as close as possible to your front door, preferably to its left. It will bring protection throughout the year.
