The wand is one of the magicians ritual tools of which he fabricates himself following tradition. He could of course purchase it, if he was totally sure of the accurate making of it. A wand like this could be bought only in specialised shops, which is held by renown magicians not by a simple esoteric shop as such. Some wands are decorated with precious stones and metals and therefore, of course, very expensive. These kind of wands have nothing to do with the wand a magician needs, they only have the property conferred by the crystals which decorates them. A true wand must be done with hazel wood and in a very precise fashion. The wood must be gathered in June, the evening before Saint John, or in July, three days after the new moon, at sunset. During the cutting of it a conjuration of consecration must be recited.

• FRIDAY, the phrase for the weekend:

• THURSDAY, protecting your door:

this very effective ritual is performed once a year. Your concentration while you make the magic cross charges it with your fluids and your intentions. It is a good weapon against the evil eye and a decorative thing if you show care in making it. Make two bouquets of aromatic plants : lavender, bay, St John's Wort, sunflower and heliotrope. If one or two plants are missing, this doesn't reduce the level of protection. Attach the plants with hemp twine, then tie the two bunches together to form a cross shape. Finally, pass the cross over a fire of fennel (stems or dried leaves). Put this cross as close as possible to your front door, preferably to its left. It will bring protection throughout the year.

• WEDNESDAY, the positive phrase to meditate on:

don't say: "I have no idea...", instead say: "I have some ideas because I know exactly what I want!" Don't do things back to front: don't expect for an idea of where you are going to appear, but define clearly what you want from life - then you will see that ideas will come!

• TUESDAY, look for a job:

burn a green candle in your name and the company you have applied to. Our some green apple and lemon essential oil into a bath (when the bath is filling up) and bathe in the light of the candle. Close your eyes and think about the things you want. Visualise yourself at the job interview then doing your new job. When you feel that your objectives are clear, concentrate on the candle flame and murmur: "Here and now, my intentions are decided, and my professional goals and all my needs will be fulfilled. All of this without harming anyone and wishing prosperity for everyone around me, and working happily and profitably with everyone. The powers of the universe will open new paths for me that will make me happy, successful and respected. So be it!" This ritual should be performed every lunar month, until you get a job. Green is the colour that brings renewal in Spring, when nature awakens. Here it works as a symbol of hope. The apple and lemon oils are used as symbols of the fruits to come.

• MONDAY, the influence of the Moon:

on Sunday 26th, the Moon is in Sagittarius and it is Mother's Day, a chance to rediscover yourself. Use the day to be with yours. Don't talk about the past or things that are annoying. 

On Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th, the Moon in Capricorn is particularly good for Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo, Aquarius, Aries and Libra when starting a new job or project. These two days foster long-lasting success. For example, they are good for opening a business, for renovation work, for sending a CV and looking for a new job. Good days to exfoliate your skin and nail care. 

On Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th, the Moon in Aquarius boosts luck and success. These are good days to ask for support to untangle difficult or old problems. However, they aren't good days to start a new business or task. The favoured signs are Aquarius, Gemini, Libra and Scorpio. Do a spring clean of your home, highly recommended before a new start. 

On Friday 31st, the Moon is in Pisces and urges you to meditate and go for walks. Don't allow yourself to feel any jealousy. Give gambling a try. Don't do any major task. Family and children will be at the forefront of your thoughts.

• FRIDAY, improve your charisma:

this simple but very effective formula is for a man or woman who wants to be loved. It is best performed on a Friday, with a rising Moon. Take a glass of water in your left hand and blow on its surface 70 times, thinking about the person who you want. Then recite this prayer: "By the power and the laws of Venus, I invoke in you and for you the burning power of love. I call on the desire and the powerful spirit of love, that all the gods have created in water. I use it to guarantee I have the joy of love! Anaël has magnetised the waters with the power of love. And that is why, by the laws of Venus, I blow on the water, because this wind brings you to me or me to you. You'll love me with a burning desire." Do this five times in a row. The power of the wind is very effective in magic. It's the same wind energy as hypnotists use to heal. Seventy breaths matches the multiplication of the sacred numbers 7 and 10.

• THURSDAY, a request for the Full Moon:

get together silver ring or medallion, some water and a cup. The day before the Full Moon, put the jewellery item in the water-filled cup and leave it there until the following evening. Then, rotate the jewellery two or three times round the cup in a clockwise direction, using your finger. Then take the cup between your hands, and walk around the room three times (always clockwise), saying: "Light of the Moon, surround me and protect me day and night." When you have finished, drink the water down in one, take out the jewellery and wear it until the next Full Moon. It will bring you luck and ensure you have divine protection.

• WEDNESDAY, the positive phrase to meditate on:

Don't say : "I don't know what to do with my life...", instead say: "I always have clear goals!" If living day to day worries you, if your life has no direction, think about your goals right now, on your own or taking advice from others, and try to always be one step ahead! You are the only one who can define your objectives.

• TUESDAY, protect yourself from an enemy:

Prepare three red candles and a little garlic powder. Light the candles then a small piece of charcoal, and when the charcoal is glowing, put a pinch of garlic powder onto it. You can add more garlic several times during the ritual. Stare at the candle flames and breathe calmly. Then visualise yourself surrounded by a protective bubble of a colour that you like, or imagine yourself wearing armour. Then stretch your hands out to the candles and say three times, with feeling: "Great Samaël, watch over me and ensure that no-one will try to stop my happiness, and that I face no hostility." Then, place your two palms over your heart and press them hard together, as if you were trying to break something, then relax and drop them down. Finally, extinguish the candles with your fingertips slightly wet with saliva. Perform this ritual on three Tuesdays in a row.

• MONDAY, the influence of the Moon:

On Sunday 19th and Monday 20th, the Moon in Virgo will urge you to organise a good meal for family or friends. But avoid overeating! Don't drive on these days. There will be a nice surprise for those in Virgo, Taurus, Gemini and Capricorn. 

On Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd, the Moon in Libra will help you have positive negotiations, for example over a new job or position of responsibility. You could also find unexpected opposition or hypocrisy. Relax and think about a massage! These are good days to start a journey or take a short holiday. 

On Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th, the Moon in Scorpio allows you to end long-held resentments of you. Be suspicious and stay alert in whatever you do. Avoid starting jobs or large projects. Good days for meditation and relaxation for some, prayers for others. 

On the 25th, the Full Moon is in Sagittarius. It is the eve of Mother's Day, a day dedicated to family and presents. Don't forget it and choose wisely! Don't do too much and above all, avoid big projects.

• FRIDAY, magic for hair and nails:

both are commonly used in magic rituals because they vibrate with the same energy as the person to whom they belong. And they are also quite easy to obtain. For example, you could use them with a magic doll (a dagyde) in a ritual instead of a person. You could also use your nail and/or hair in a love talisman, mixed with those of the person you want to have or keep. So when you treat your hair or nails, remember that they are full of your energy!

• THURSDAY, solve a problem:

sleep is a good counsellor. If you have a question that you can't answer, write it in a few words on a piece of paper, read it when you are in bed and then slide the paper under your pillow, saying several times: "Spirits of the night, watch over my sleep so that my mind can do its work in the best possible conditions." Then go to sleep without thinking about the question, trusting your subconscious mind. The answer will come to you in a dream, or be in your mind when you wake up. Sometimes it takes two or three nights, if the issue is a complex one.

• WEDNESDAY, sell property:

on a table, put some a few pinches of thyme leaves in a cup. Next to them put a photograph or plan of the property that you want to sell, and on top of it the keys. Around them place three white candles in a triangle and light them. Light a small piece of charcoal and when it glows, add a good pinch of thyme, so the smoke will purify the air. Gently look at the keys and photo or plan, letting a feeling of confidence build inside you. After a few minutes, place both hands over the keys and photo, and visualise yourself giving the keys to the new owner and shaking their hand. Then say three times: "Angel Raphaël, I entrust to you the sale of my house (business, car…), for the sake of all who I love. Make the deal go smoothly and bless those who buy it." Visualise the transaction again and then put out the candles and let the thyme burn out. Perform this ritual every Wednesday until the house is sold.

• TUESDAY, the positive phrase to meditate on:

don't say : "I can't hold on to anything!", instead say: "I will find what I need within me." There are times in life when it seems that everything is falling apart around you, everything is going wrong, nothing protects you. You feel so defenseless  abandoned and helpless. Those are the times when you need to draw on your own strength and not give in, use your own energy to fight back and you own desire to carry on. The latter can often get things moving: look at things objectively, re-evaluate your priorities and dare to ask for help …

• MONDAY, the influence of the Moon:

On Sunday 12th, the Moon in Gemini encourages family, trips and fun. You could rekindle old relationships. Expect happy changes in life. It's a good day for gambling and competitions. The favoured signs are Gemini, Aquarius, Libra and Virgo. 

On Monday 13th, Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th, the Moon in Cancer protects those born under Cancer, Taurus, Sagittarius and Pisces. These three days encourage communication, selling things and findings things you've lost. Dealing with administration or officials will be easier.

Fold the paper into eight while looking at the candle, then put it in the bag with the maple leaf, paprika and cumin. Put your left hand on the bag, your right hand on your heart and say the incantation three times while looking at the candle. Then, carry the bag with you until the contract is signed.

• WEDNESDAY, the positive phrase to meditate on: never say : "Nobody cares about me.", instead say: "I give to others in order to receive". I often hear people saying this and I notice that it usually is said by people who complain that others don't pay them any attention, while they themselves are focussed only on their own lives. We need to create any energy between ourselves and others in order to be appreciated, regarded and sought out. And this energy can only come from the heart.

• THURSDAY, find a professional partner: with green ink, write on a piece of parchment the name of the person that you want to work with, as well as the qualities. Roll up the paper and anoint it with jasmine and amber essential oils. Tie the roll with green thread while you say a line of the incantation for each of six knots: "A knot to support our collaboration, a knot to share these qualities, a knot to strengthen our understanding, a knot to join together our involvement and symbiosis, a knot to always agree, and a knot that we work towards joint success. So be it!" Then, keep this roll of paper under a candlestick holding a green candle and light it on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the evening, for a few minutes each time, repeating the formula in a low voice, until your wish is fulfilled.

In magic, it is a male plant, associated with Mars and the Moon, with Fire, Water and Air, with the sign of Aries, and the days Monday and Thursday. Use it to encourage and boost fertility and wear it at a wedding. It promotes happiness if worn at work or at home: a house with hawthorn is protected against storms and lightning, and the entry of evil spirits. It is used in rituals to help people meet new lovers. The May pentacle:

 allows you to become more sensual. It is powerful, creating a link between you and higher and divine forces. It is personal to you and cannot be used by anyone else. To make this link, you will need: a piece of white cardboard 4in x 4in (10 x 10 cm), a red ink pen and a red candle. Light the candle and say: "With this flame, I illuminate my soul with the light of the sun. The light of truth, the light of knowledge, the light of nature, will shine on my reading, my spirit, my being. The triple candle of grace illuminates my soul and makes me more generous to people around me. The power of the light illuminates my April pentacle to make me more open. This is what I will!" Draw the pentacle without stopping: do the first circle, then the second and the third. Draw the inner cross, then add the signs and symbols in the right place, and finish by writing the magic names. Then place your hands on it and consecrate it: "O most powerful Adonai, most strong El, most holy Agia, Aleph and Tau, the beginning and the end; I humbly beseech and request your Holy Majesty that this May pentacle is blessed and primed by your power to receive qualities and energies to increase my generosity. Through you, o most holy Adonai, whose kingdom, empire and authority will exist and last forever.” Finally, sign the back and then write underneath “Help me.” Carry it with you for the whole month. Then at the end of the month, burn it in the flame of a red candle.

The Wand

The wand is the tool of command, corresponding to the kings scepter or the bishops cross. It is the extension of the magicians thoughts in the force of its action.The wand attracts and collects the astral forces,keeping them before him.It also serves to trace the magic circle on the floor, when the magician is doing a ceremony out in nature.

The Consecration of the Sword

I beseech thee, O sword, by the holy and invisible name of El, the strong and wonderful, the name of the Almighty Shaddaï, andalso by the names of Quadosch, Quadosch, Quadosch,  Adonai Elohim Tzabaoth, the first and the last, wisdom, path, life, truth, chief, speech, word, splendor, light, priest, immortal Messiah.

By these and by the other names, I beseech you O sword,to serve me with your protection, against any adversity. Amen.

The Sword and the Wand

The sword and the wand belong to the legend. Historically, they symbolize the will and the power of the magician. They correspond to the negative and the positive forces, which are acting permanently around us. The Sword (negative) is used for the  dispersing of the energetically charged masses,and to unlock energy nodes,just like a lightning rod. The wand (positive) acts in a reverse fashion: it attracts astral energy, in other words, the energy of the invoked entities.

Manufacturing the triangle

The triangle is drawn on the same square of white cloth as the magic circle, with the same preparation of blessed boxwood mixed with holy water, about twenty centimetres above the written name of the Angel correponding to the element Air.
The rituals that govern the development of the magic circle and triangle are full of sense and reason: the creation of, on a single plane, and by symbolic analogy, two very different universes - the one of the Magician and the one of the entity, between which a communication can be established. During the occult work, nothing, no longer exist for the magician, other than these universes. Both the triangle and the circle are consecrated at the same time.

The apparition triangle

If the circle is your particular area during the time of the invocation, the triangle, represents the world of the invoked entity. It is is exact space where you focus all energies channelled by the sword and the wand.


In the triangle you put:

* The censer filled with incense mixed with the perfume of the day,

* An offering to the entity in the form of plants, flowers, fruits and minerals with correspondence to the invoked entity,

* The material element - letter, photo, card, ad ... - in connection to your demand,

* A candle in the appropriate colour.

When an entity manifest in "the apparition triangle", you see a movement or an unusual deformation of the flame of the candle, or even a silhouette outlined in the convolutions of the incense smoke.

Consecration of the Magic Circle

"Agla. Agla. Agla. All mighty God. You, being the life of the Universe and who reigns upon the four elements by the power and virtue of the Sacred Names TETRAGRAMMATON, YOD, HE, VAU, HE, please, bless the circle in my hands as you blessed the coat of Elie in the hands of Elisée,  your wings shielding me from harm, as have been stated: You will be shielded by his wings and feathers if you have faith in him. His faithfulness will be your shield and protection."

These three circles...

form a kind of wall,within which you are secure from any "aggression",  from the spirit world. During the  invocation,you shouldn't step out of this "secure space"  before having completing the return of  the invoked Angel. Such a misadventure always has annoying consequences. The magical circle is not only an object of protection against the invoked forces. One could even say that it would be a shame and even dangerous to limit its use merely to this. Actually, the magic circle is a schematic representation of the world in which we live, the microcosm. As such, it is thus necessary to replace all the symbols of life: the four Elements symbolized by the cardinal points, the seasons, the names of the divinities that we respect and in which we believe and also the names of the summoned Angels or entities ... All these signs are placed in a specific order and direction, respectful towards the hierarchy.  All these elements together sign the effectiveness of the magic circle.
